Rachele Didero is a designer and researcher working at the intersection of fashion, technology, and ethics. Currently affiliated with the MIT Tangible Media Group, her work explores adversarial design—using clothing and textiles as tools for resistance against surveillance and facial recognition systems. Through her project Cap_able, she has developed garments that visually disrupt AI systems while remaining wearable , merging activism with aesthetics. Didero’s research challenges the politics of visibility and control in a data-driven world, offering new ways for individuals to protect their identity and autonomy through design. Her work bridges critical theory, innovation, and wearable resistance.
